6 months

Markus turned 6 months old yesterday! It is amazing how quickly the time goes by. We've had a busy six months. Here are the highlights:

July

We spent our first week in Lacombe with the whole family.

He started to smile so quickly :)

At the end of the month we went down south to a family reunion and stopped by Waterton National Park as well.

August

During August we took Markus on his first plane ride to Mesa, Arizona. Definitely not the best time to visit Arizona because it was so FREAKING hot there, but we were able to go to Steph's wedding which was incredible. Todd LOVED it because he loves the heat!! Markus...not so much. We were outside for less than 5 minutes and he was already soaked and bawling. It's a dang good thing that they have AC there.

September

Our highlight in September was going on a road trip to Meadow Lakes condo in Montana with my mom. The weather was BEAUTIFUL there! We took Markus swimming for the first time. He felt so comfortable there he fell right to sleep. It was very entertaining :)

He had his first shower here too :) His face entertains me.

October/November

We mostly just stayed at home during October and November and had some good times. He really began to love his jolly jumper

and his bumbo

We got this exersaucer from Nathan and Rachelle. Markus LOVES it. It's like the jolly jumper except BETTER!

December

On Dec 19 we tried to feed Markus his first solids. He didn't really take it, but he didn't cry...the first time. The whole next week he still wouldn't take it. Then he got sick and I had to stop trying. I will start again next week. We'll see how that goes.

Getting ready to be the cutest baby at the grandparent's for Christmas

Christmas

Markus and I were able to go to Lacombe for the week to be with all the aunties and uncles and cousins. Poor Todd had to stay and work until Christmas Eve.

Snuggling with Auntie Tiff

Very glad I brought this exersaucer with us. Zak loved it too!

They are going to be best friends
