Moving up!!

It is amazing how quickly the time flies by. Markus has his 9 month birthday yesterday and I am happy to report that he has decided that not all food is bad. He is beginning to move up in the world of real food! YAY!!! The first thing he enjoyed was a banana milkshake. I mean, how can you go wrong with a banana milkshake? :) He has expanded to cherrios, arrowroot cookies, and some yogurt (sometimes). I think he is going to be skipping the whole baby food stage. Whatever works! I am sure happy!

It's almost April and that is a very exciting month for us. Markus gets to take his second trip by plane to HAWAII!!! TIFF HERE WE COME!!! Since my little sister is the coolest and goes to school in Hawaii, we decided we would fly out to celebrate her finishing her first year and surviving the big wave! Hooray for awesome sisters. Finally, after watching my mom go time and time again, my husband will take me! Gotta love husbands:)

In other news...My online schooling is going great. I finished my first of two courses about three weeks ago and got and A!! YAHOO. I just took the first of three tests for my last course of undergraduate schooling. Hopefully I will find out if all this work is going to amount to anything soon, but you know Canadian Universities. They like the whole last minute university idea. At least I'm doing my part so that I can't blame my lack of a graduate degree on laziness. Only two more tests left before the middle of June. I think I can do it!

Todd just got his apprentice book back saying that he has completed everything and did a good enough job to get his ticket!! This means we will be getting another raise!!! Hooray for money to pay for awesome vacations and renovations. This also means that he is eligible for a job coming up as a foreman at one of the smaller concrete plants that his company owns. He would be the one in charge!!!
