Birthday party number two was held at our place back in Edmonton on his actual birthday (Wednesday June 29, 2011). We invited all our ward friends to come and celebrate with us! We had lasagna for dinner and sponge cake for dessert!
Markus is patiently waiting for his food to come!
Here are the little friends that came to celebrate! The boy in the top picture (Zachary Chalmers from down the street) is 5 months younger than him, but is pretty much at the same developmental stage in every regard. They are fun to see together. The little girl in the bottom picture (Kaylee Hamblin from a little further down the street in the other direction) is 10 months younger and just a tiny little thing like Markus was at that age. :)

Here is Tamarah and Peter playing with Markus. Tamarah just loved to play with him, but Peter was just determined to have Markus say "Peter" as his first word. (Sorry Peter, but it definitely didn't work out for you:( )
