We celebrated Markus' birthday in 3 parts. This was because we didn't want to overwhelm Markus with so many people and if we had it all on one day then a lot of important people would have missed it. The first party we had was on the Sunday afternoon before Markus' birthday. We went to grandma and grandpa Watson's house for dinner and cake. Here was his first CAKE!!!
Markus was a little intrigued by it, but I don't think he liked how cold it was.
He soon became more interested in the bowl than the cake. He did eat the cake, but only when it was spoon fed to him by Auntie Ellie :)
Just playing around with James and Daddy! He was very fascinated by that chain! (Note about development...he is still not sitting up by himself and he is still not crawling, but he is EXCELLENT at rolling over back and forth. That is how he likes to move about the room now.)
DeDee and James went off to play in Utah for Independence Day and would not be around the following weekend when we had the party with my family so she joined us here!
James was a really good help when it came to opening presents.
